Weymouth Public Schools is seeking a Building Substitute for Wessagusset Elementary School in Weymouth, MA. The substitute will fill in for classroom teachers or other staff, following lesson plans and performing daily duties to keep classrooms running smoothly.

Responsibility:

Reports directly to the building principal or their designeefor guidance on where assistance isneeded in the school building

General Duties:

Assigned by the building principal or their designee to fills in for classroom tteacher or another staff member in their absence and, in general, performs all of the daily responsibilities and duties of that staff member.

Specific Duties:

• Instructs classes following teacher's lesson plans


• Performs regular daily duties assigned


• Follows policies and procedures of the Weymouth Public Schools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degreepreferred but not required.

Salary:

Paid on a per diem basis at the designated building substitute rate of $115.00/day
