Job Summary

This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of interiors and exteriors of our facility and campus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces including patching, stripping, sanding, ice blasting, pressure washing, etc.
• Apply finishes including epoxies, stains, paints, varnishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform exterior cleaning using pressure washing equipment.
• Perform light carpentry in preparation for projects.
• Perform concrete repairs, pothole repairs, brick repairs.
• Perform grounds maintenance including tree trimming, moving rock or soil.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with contractors or vendors as required for specialized services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of supplies.
• Support event setup, furniture moves, and minor custodial services as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED); relevant technical training or certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or related.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
