Yorkville CUSD 115 is seeking a priority substitute for Circle Center Grade School for the 26-27 School Year. A valid Illinois Professional Educator License or Substitute License is required.

Those interested in substitute teaching are required to hold a valid Professional Educator License or Substitute License, in order to be a substitute teacher in Illinois. Anyone interested in obtaining a Substitute License must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
To obtain a Substitute License: Applicants for substitute teaching should contact the Regional Office of Education for processing at 109 W. Ridge Street, Yorkville, IL 60560 (630)553-4168. If you hold a Teaching License, you do not need a Substitute License.
After the Substitute License is issued and registered in Grundy/Kendall, you will receive a "Substitute Teacher Authorization" from the ROE. To obtain this authorization, the following must be provided:
Once you have completed these steps, you can bring the Substitute Teacher Authorization with attached fingerprint results to the Yorkville School District Office located at 800 Game Farm Rd., Yorkville, IL (630) 553-4382. At the District Office you will complete the substitute packet, provide your driver's license, social security card, and a voided check for direct deposit to process your registration in Yorkville.
Substitute teachers for the Yorkville School District are paid $145/day with a Priority Substitute Quarterly Bonus.
