Job description

The City of Sugar Creek, MO is accepting applications for the position of Building Official. The Building Official is an appointed and nonexempt hourly position, responsible for the enforcement coordination of the city’s building and property maintenance codes and performs all other duties normally encountered in connection with building inspections, plan review and code enforcement.

Applicants with an Associate’s degree or higher degree preferred. Experience in building inspections, construction, and code enforcement is desired. Two years experience in the field is required. An equivalent of experience and education will be considered. Salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience.
