The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across the Institute’s buildings and systems, including carpentry, painting, mechanical, and plumbing work. The position requires either a Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Saturday schedule.
You will be responsible for general carpentry, finishing work, operating and assisting with the Building Management System, HVAC and plumbing tasks, and keeping museum spaces safe,
Perform a wide variety of duties involved with repairing and preventive maintenance of Institute’s buildings and systems including carpentry, painting, mechanical, plumbing, and other general maintenance duties as required. This position requires either a Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Saturday schedule.

Work Environment: Work will be performed in an office environment, museum spaces, mechanical spaces, and the outdoors. The noise level ranges from low to high. The environment is frequently dusty, and there is exposure to fumes and hot and cold temperatures. Work sometimes needs to be performed in confined spaces.
