You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure needs are met with friendly, knowledgeable service.

The role involves stocking, processing orders, and occasionally supporting other departments to deliver top-notch customer care in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (data entry, browsing, basic tasks).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely receipt.
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, plumbing, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
