Job summary

Okie Staffing is seeking a motivated Building Material Delivery Driver and Loader in Edmond, OK. The position offers a $16.00 per hour pay rate, with overtime and some Saturdays required, and is temp-to-hire with benefits possible after full-time hire.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating forklifts, inventory handling, order picking, shipping/receiving, assembling products, and safe delivery of materials to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid regular driver's license (CDL not required).
• Must have a clean driving record (MVR).
• Must have 1+ year of non-CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed.
• Help with inventory management and order picking.
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities with accurate documentation.
• Build and assemble products for customer orders.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in farm work, ranch work, fencing, construction, or other hands‑on labor. The right candidate will have common sense, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities.

Resposibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading of heavy equipment and materials
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed
• Help with inventory management and order picking
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation
• Build and assemble products as required for customer orders
• Drive and deliver materials in a safe professional manner

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Valid regular driver's license (CDL not required)
• Must have a clean driving record (MVR)
• Oklahoma applicants must have no more than one ticket and no accidents
• Must have 1 year + of non-CDL driving experience
• Must have the ability to preform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) safely
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
• Must have previous warehouse or shop experience
• Must be available to work some Saturdays and overtime as needed
• Farm, ranch, fencing, or construction experience is a plus
• Must be punctual and show up for scheduled interviews
