An established industry player is seeking a dedicated part-time Building Maintenance Worker to join their team. In this role, you will perform a variety of unskilled and semiskilled tasks essential for the maintenance and repair of City buildings and facilities. Under direct supervision, the part time Building Maintenance Worker performs a variety of unskilled and semiskilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of City buildings and facilities as required. The position is anticipated to last approximately 6 months.
This is an at will, part-time position which does not receive any insurance benefits.

Any combination equivalent to experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to acquire the knowledge and abilities would be:
A minimum of one year of work experience in building maintenance, construction, electrical and/or mechanical disciplines.
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
Work involves considerable physical exertion, including heavy lifting. Most work is done outdoors, and will be performed in all weather conditions including inclement weather. Involves exposure to the hazards associated with working around traffic and heavy equipment. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate for job assignments; must comply with all safety and CalOSHA standards.
