Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative in La Crosse, WI seeks a skilled building maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across multiple sites. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance and basic repairs, respond to alarms, and lead selected projects under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with occupants and contractors, using CMMS to document work, and contributing to safety programs while performing light

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in building or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Up to two years of related maintenance or construction experience preferred.
• Military training, apprenticeship, internships or equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building protection systems.
• Monitor and respond to building alarms and safety incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for upgrades and repairs.
• Maintain records in CMMS and update drawings and procedures.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds work as needed.
• Operate safe transfer of furniture and equipment as required.
