Job summary

ERMC Aviation LLC is seeking a General Technician to support electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems across airport terminals. The role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safe operation with proper tool use.

Candidates should have basic technical skills, be able to read work orders, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a demanding environment. Full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

• Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding.
• Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid injuries on the ground.
• Can evaluate computer-related work orders following accuracy.
• Provide all basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist electrical, HVAC, and plumbing technicians.
• Perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Monitor HVAC airflow and distribution in Terminals.
• Change HVAC filters.
• Maintain, repair, and replace electrical motors.
• Maintain, repair, and replace water and hydraulic pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues that may arise.
• Ensure the proper use of all tools for cutting, bending, and welding of equipment.
• Carry out detailed evaluation of equipment to ensure they are in good condition for proper use.
• Carry out repairs on ceilings, floors, and walls by combining plaster or spackle and painting.
• Inspect equipment such as refrigerators and air conditioners for cleaning, speed, temperature, and lubrication.
• Repair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety.

Job description

ERMC is seeking a General Technician.

The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

Applicants may qualify by a combination of history and knowledge of the above-noted systems.

Standard qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
