Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and control devices on the airport conveyor system. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment from the main disconnect to the end device, ensuring reliable performance in a demanding airport environment.

The ideal candidate holds Journeyman status, can work nights, weekends, and holidays, and must obtain an airport security badge.

Qualifications

• Certified electrician with Journeyman status and motor control experience.
• Authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to obtain an airport security badge and maintain it.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Job description

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to,

• Maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and control devices, equipment, and components associated with the airport conveyor system.
• Operation and maintenance of all equipment and systems specified in this scope of work and/or services.
• Maintenance services of all equipment and services specified here from the main equipment disconnect to the end device.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a related field.
• Strong skills and experience with industrial control devices.
• Attention to detail to make precise, accurate measurements
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as Journeyman Electricians may troubleshoot and repair issues in the field.
• Certified electrician with a minimum “Journeyman” status: industrial electrical motor control experience and electrical automation experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
