Job summary

Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch, MN is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe and guest-ready. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs; responding to service requests; and maintaining safety and logbooks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and guest areas.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Ability to manage work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Strong focus on safety, OSHA compliance, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and guest areas
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests to support guest satisfaction and operations
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety or maintenance concerns
• Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in safe, organized condition
• Document work performed and update maintenance logs or work order systems
• Collaborate with operations, housekeeping, and other teams to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety, tribal, and regulatory guidelines and procedures

In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties include basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs; responding to work orders and urgent calls; and completing routine inspections. You'll work closely with other departments, follow safety and tribal standards, and support a guest-first, team-oriented culture with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
