Job summary

Founders 3 is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Alta Apartments in Waukesha, WI. This full-time role focuses on hands-on maintenance, preventative care, and responsive resident service to ensure a well-run community.

You will handle repairs, inspect systems, and support move-ins/move-outs while delivering dependable, detail-oriented service in a brand-new apartment community.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of apartment maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Pool certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills; Yardi experience preferred.
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance repairs and resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform general repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain building systems, common areas, and maintenance workspaces.
• Track work orders, maintenance records, and supplies.
• Assist with resident move-ins, move-outs, and contractor access.
