About the Role

Steuben Foods is seeking a hands‑on and reliable Building Maintenance Technician team member to help keep our plant running smoothly. This role is responsible for performing light repairs, general maintenance, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility. Schedule

Tuesday‑Saturday, 1st Shift

What You’ll Do

• Perform minor building, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Audit and repair dock doors, man doors, and dock restraints as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning and powered equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and power washers.
• Handle small painting and trim projects to maintain plant appearance.
• Use and maintain hand tools and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with light fixture installations and basic maintenance tasks.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and safety guidelines (GMPs and OSHA).
• Accurately complete and initial assigned MSS sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant operations.

• Basic experience with hand tools and building maintenance.
• Forklift license (or ability to qualify for one).
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and repair work.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
