Kennybrook Village in Grimes, IA is seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance Technician) to support the Plant Operations Director in keeping the community facility safe, functional and welcoming for residents, staff and guests.

Responsibilities include basic lawn care, painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance; ability to work independently; participate in safety and infection-control practices; assist with resident transportation and daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to obtain state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and service facility equipment and furnishings as required.
• Assist with transportation of residents as requested, including mobility assistance.
• Follow safety policies and infection control guidelines.
• Support lawn care, painting, remodeling and general building maintenance.
• May be on-call as assigned.
