Overview

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of building assets. This position also involves basic maintenance and organization to ensure that facilities and equipment are in good condition for customers and employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, equipment installation, groundskeeping/snow removal, and custodial work.

The starting pay rate is $19 - $22 per hour, based on experience and certifications.

This position is based at 5210 Industrial Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, servicing multiple locations in the area.

This position involves a 40-hour workweek over 4 days with a rotating schedule:

Week 1:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

Friday: OFF

Week 2:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

Friday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and snow/ice removal
• Complete work orders promptly, whether from call-in requests or preventive maintenance schedules
• Participate in the company’s preventive maintenance program
• Troubleshoot and resolve general problems
• Move items such as furniture, file cabinets, boxes, and artwork as needed
• Deliver office and building supplies
• Install small appliances and equipment (pressure washers, air compressors, etc.)
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and in an office environment
• Use a variety of equipment, including vehicles, safety belts, radios, phones, computers/tablets, printers, and cleaning tools
• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on general building maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 2 years
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions in the past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is preferred
