Nebraska Furniture Mart is hiring a Building Maintenance Tech II for Grandscape Facilities in The Colony, TX. The role covers HVAC and building systems maintenance on a second shift, Sundays through Thursdays, 2:30–11:00 PM, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, carpentry including lighting, drywall, painting and door hardware.
• Monitor preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs for HVAC and fire suppression systems.
• Plan daily property inspections including roofs, restrooms, lighting, signage and service yards.
• Assist with setup and tear down of event spaces.
• Safety: inspect, maintain and service exterior systems and equipment; perform seasonal snow removal and ice treatment.

Pay Range: $22.10 - 27.40 Hourly

The scheduled hours for the role are Sunday through Thursday from 2:30-11:00pm, with Fridays and Saturdays OFF!

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Maintain Perform basic repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, carpentry including: lighting, drywall, painting and door hardware

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year building maintenance, custodial, general or labor experience required
• Technical or trade school classes in related field required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
• Basic carpentry skills preferred
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred
• Plumbing knowledge preferred
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
