Job summary

Goodwill Manasota seeks a Building Maintenance Technician 2 to deliver dependable maintenance and service across our facilities. You will provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors, inspect buildings for upkeep, and document work requests with care.

The role requires commuting to sites in Manatee, Sarasota, and Hardee counties, performing light maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety standards. A Florida driver’s license and flexible hours are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of work experience in facility management or related field.
• Valid Florida driver's license and safe driving record.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and be on-call as needed.

As a Building Maintenance Technician 2, you will:

• Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Assist in the inspection of our buildings and structures to determine any necessary repairs, upkeep, or routine maintenance
• Complete and document “Service Work Requests” with care in a timely manner
• Drive to locations across Manatee, Sarasota, and Hardee counties to inspect and service requests
