Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians at one of our hotel properties. You will respond to guest requests, supervise preventative maintenance, and oversee external contractors to ensure quality service.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, plus strong time management and a customer-service focus to anticipate guest needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hotel or multi-family properties.
• Currently managing at least one subordinate.
• Proficient knowledge of hand tools and maintenance duties.
• Time management capability to accomplish work within established parameters.
• Customer service focus and ability to anticipate guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and provide great guest service.

• Lead a team of Building Maintenance Tech I and II to complete tasks as assigned by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (QUORE).
• Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.

• Oversee all 3rd party outside contractors.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly.
• Always maintain a professional appearance.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What are the requirements for this position?

• You have Building Maintenance experience. Preferably in a hotel or multi-family properties.

Physical Requirements For This Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
