The City of Concord is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker. This role involves repair and upkeep of city-managed housing facilities, performing carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance tasks. A valid North Carolina driver's license and the ability to perform medium work are essential for candidates.
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and upkeep of the City’s Housing managed facilities and grounds. This is primarily accomplished by making repairs, obtaining materials and pricing equipment to be used for maintenance.
Please Note:An offer of employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a fingerprint screening. If the incumbent fails to obtain clearance through the fingerprint screening, they will not be able to access all necessary City buildings and therefore, may be subject to termination.
