BRT Extrusions Inc in Niles, OH is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our 24/7 plant operations. The role covers upkeep, repairs, and additions to a 400,000-square-foot facility, with 8- or 12-hour shifts and a varying schedule.

Responsibilities include framing, drywall, basic electrical and plumbing, roofing, sheet metal work, welding and pipe fitting, forklift operation, and tool use. English communication and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance repairs experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be willing to work 8- or 12-hour shifts with a varying schedule.
• Must have and use PPE and follow safety policies and protocols.
• Must have forklift driving experience.
• Must read and write and communicate in English.
• Experience with maintenance-related hand and power tools.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Follow all company policies.
• Willingness to participate in trainings.

Responsabilités

• Frame and finish construction projects.
• Hang and finish drywall.
• Identify and fix basic electrical issues.
• Make basic plumbing repairs.
