THE SALVATION ARMY A GEORGIA CORP in Florida is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for routine repairs, groundskeeping, and minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks.

This on-site role requires reading, writing, and communicating in English, physical stamina, and the ability to drive and operate maintenance equipment.

You will help maintain facilities and vehicles, ensure safety, and support building operations with a focus on reliability and community service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years' experience operating an automotive vehicle.

• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job description

Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMThis position is responsible for:Performs routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles; conducts groundskeeping activities to maintain and enhance the appearance of the property; and completes minor plumbing and carpentry repairs.Key Responsibilities:Performs routine building maintenance activities; performs minor pluming repairs required by leaking faucets and clogged toilets; performs carpentry work required to repair dents and/or holes in walls and paints walls.
