The Iron Horse Hotel seeks an energetic maintenance engineer to oversee daily maintenance and preventative programs, ensuring guest health, safety, and satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with hotel staff and manage equipment upkeep to deliver top-notch guest experiences.

The ideal candidate maintains strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to safety, while responding to emergencies and keeping engineering standards in line with hotel policy.

Qualifications

• Experience with facilities management software is preferred.
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED.
• Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks.
• Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans.
• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts.
• Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations.
