Job summary

Casa of Hobart in Fort Wayne, IN, is hiring a full-time maintenance associate to keep our building safe, clean, and functioning for residents. You’ll learn from experienced staff or bring your own trade experience, with training provided as needed.

You’ll assist with preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, move furniture, and support resident evacuation during emergencies. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; weekend on‑call and rotating holidays may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with residents, families, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment and building systems for safe, proper function.
• Handle incoming and outgoing freight and run errands as needed.
• Move furniture and equipment around the building.
• Assist with resident evacuation during emergencies.
• Work alongside other departments to keep the building running.
