Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Building Maintenance role in Tracy, CA. The shift is First 1st Shift from 6am to 2pm, with pay to be determined. You will maintain the building, facilities, and essential systems such as water, heating, cooling, and electricals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in facility maintenance and forklift experience, plus familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word). DHL offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience is required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC system and related building systems.
• Do minor maintenance on water and electrical issues as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure reliability.
• Perform basic carpentry on floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when tasks are done.
• Respond to security/alarm calls as needed.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
