Job summary

Aoka is seeking a Building Inspector to oversee construction quality and code compliance in our Texas projects. You will inspect sites, review documents, and coordinate with contractors and authorities, ensuring safety and adherence to approved plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of building inspections experience.
• Current ICC certifications; Texas TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, codes and safety standards.
• Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors and local authorities.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare timely, professional reports.
• Address questions and concerns from clients and contractors with expert guidance.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
