The Mobile County Personnel Board is seeking a Building Inspector II responsible for inspecting properties to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in construction or inspections, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to meet medical and physical standards for the role.
This is advanced field and office inspectional work in enforcing the International Code Council codes and other related codes and ordinances.

Yearly Salary: $49,294 - $78,804
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college coursework in the building trades and a minimum of three years' experience at the level of Building Inspector I; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
