Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to maintain MVR.

• Erosion Control Inspector certification (Level 1B) per Georgia requirements, to be obtained within 6 months.

Job description

High school diploma or GED required, with vocational or technical training in residential building inspections or a related field; supplemented by three years of experience in construction, building trades work, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. Must possess and maintain the following Inspector certifications from the International Code Council: B1 Residential Building Inspector, Residential Plumbing, Residential Electrical, and Residential HVAC to be obtained within 24 months from date of employment. Must possess or the ability to obtain within 6 months from date of employment the Georgia Soil and Water Conversation Commission Level 1B (Red Card) Erosion Control Inspector certification. Must submit a current, certified 3-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
