BPR Consulting Group is looking for an experienced Building Official / Senior Building Inspector to manage operations and ensure adherence to building codes in San Joaquin County. This role involves consulting with stakeholders, performing inspections, and maintaining high standards in building processes. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience, certifications, and a commitment to integrity in service.
BPR Consulting Group ( www.bpr-grp.com ) is seeking an experienced and certified Building Official / Senior Building Inspector to join our growing company and serve one of our key clients in the San Joaquin County area.
The successful candidates must possess the ability to work independently, communicate effectively and maintain professional working relationships with clients, coworkers, and permit applicants. Political awareness along with the ability to work with elected officials, City officials and the department customers will be essential to the success of the selected individuals.

2. Apply knowledge of building codes, policies, and procedures to the day-to-day functions of a building department.
4. Plan review of minor projects for residential and commercial building, alterations, remodels, and additions.
5. Performs field inspections on all phases of residential and commercial construction.

Desired Qualifications:
· Five (5) plus years as a building official or building inspector for a local or state fire or building department or equivalent related experience.
· Must possess knowledge and application of plan review and construction processes.
· Experience in the interpretation and application of building codes.
· Advanced knowledge of California Building Codes.
· Good driving record.
