Job summary

Automated Controls seeks a Project Engineer in the Nashville area to design and implement BAS/HVAC control solutions. You’ll engineer control systems, select hardware, and prepare submittals, while building SiteBuilder databases and EIKON programming.

You will work with BACnet networks, assist with third‑party integrations, and support field teams through startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning, taking ownership from engineering to turnover.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant BAS / HVAC controls experience.
• Experience with WebCTRL, EIKON, SiteBuilder and Automated Logic hardware preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience can qualify in place of a four-year degree.

Automated Logic / WebCTRL professionals: I’m hiring for a Project Engineer to join my team at Automated Controls, Inc. in the Nashville metropolitan area.

If you’re already engineering ALC systems—or you’re the field technician others call when the programming, BACnet network, or equipment sequence isn’t behaving—I’d like to talk with you.

We’re looking for someone who understands how commercial HVAC systems operate and can turn that understanding into controls that work in the field.

Experience with WebCTRL, EIKON, SiteBuilder, and Automated Logic hardware is strongly preferred.

The work includes:

• Engineering controls systems, selecting hardware, and developing submittals.
• Building SiteBuilder databases and developing EIKON programming.
• Working through BACnet networks and third-party integrations.
• Supporting technicians through startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Taking ownership of projects from engineering through turnover.
• 3+ years of relevant BAS / HVAC controls experience.

Your current title might be Controls Technician, Lead Technician, Systems Specialist, BAS Programmer, Field Engineer, or Controls Engineer.

If you’ve built your experience programming, starting up, and troubleshooting building automation systems, that experience matters here.

Equivalent professional experience can qualify in place of a four-year degree.
