H-E-B is seeking a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner to maintain facilities and systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. You will support a world-class maintenance organization using the latest technology and processes.

Responsibilities include building repairs, mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, fire and electrical tasks, and PMs. Requires 2+ years in relevant trades and strong problem-solving with attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, or construction trades.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of 3-phase AC voltage, meters, and Ohm's law.
• Able to read site drawings and repair/build doors, walls, floors and related building components.
• Strong communication skills and safety-conscious approach.

Aufgaben

• Maintains buildings: basic office remodels, dock maintenance, plumbing fixtures repair/replacement, and repairing doors/windows/flooring per site drawings.
• Mechanical: repairs/install power transmission equipment, bearings, belts, drives, and sprockets; perform PM as appropriate.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics: read hydraulic schematics, adjust flow/pressure, perform PM on systems.
• Fire Systems: apply knowledge of wet systems.
• Electrical: troubleshoot/repair basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment; adhere to safe practices.

Job Summary

As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you’ll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. You’ll support our mission to be a world class maintenance management organization using the latest in technology, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:

Buildings:

• Performs basic office remodel skills
• Applies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods
• Repairs / replaces basic plumbing fixtures
• Reads site drawings, symbols to repair / replace doors, walls, various types of flooring, and other types of materials used for building repair

Mechanical:

• Repairs / installs power transmission equipment
• Repairs / replaces various types of mechanical apparatus containing bearings, belts, drives, sheaves, and sprockets
• Performs skill-level appropriate preventive maintenance (PM)

Hydraulics & Pneumatics:

• Reads hydraulic schematics to repair / identify hydraulic system components
• Makes flow control adjustments and pressure adjustments to hydraulic / pneumatic equipment
• Performs skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Fire Systems:

• Applies knowledge of wet systems

Electrical:

• Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment
• Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipment

Qualifications & Key Requirements

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction trades - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Working knowledge / understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC), the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters, and Ohm's law - Required
• Working knowledge of different types of sprockets, bearings, v-belts, drive belts, and sheaves - Required
• Strong organization and time-management skills - Required
• Strong written / verbal communication and skills - Required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail - Required
• Initiative - Required

Education

• HS Diploma or GED - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone position
• Climb; work from a ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)
• Lift and carry 75 lbs
• Work in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees
