Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner in Texas to maintain facilities and systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability using the latest technology, processes, and procedures.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and safety systems, conduct PMs, and support a world-class maintenance organization with a focus on safe practices and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with welding.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Experience with construction trades.
• Understanding of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC).
• Familiar with amp meters, multimeters, and Ohm's law.

Responsibilities

• Repairs / lubes / changes out / PM on sprockets, bearings, belts, and sheaves on industrial equipment.
• Resets auto doors, auto gates, and entry/exit turnstiles.
• Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment.
• Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipment.

Job Summary

As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you'll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. You'll support our mission to be a world class maintenance management organization using the latest in technology, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:

• Buildings
• Performs basic office remodel skills
• Applies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods
• Repairs / replaces basic plumbing fixtures
• Mechanical
• Repairs / lubes / changes out / performs preventive maintenance (PM) on sprockets, bearings, belts, and sheaves on industrial equipment
• Resets auto doors, auto gates, and entry / exit turnstiles
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics
• Performs skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fire Systems
• Applies knowledge of wet systems to assist in troubleshooting / repair / replacement
• Electrical
• Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment
• Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipment
