NAMIC, a division of Medline, is seeking a Building & Grounds Custodian Coordinator for the 3rd shift in Glens Falls, NY. This role focuses on coordinating daily housekeeping and facility cleaning operations to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment.

You will guide the housekeeping team, ensure records and logs are up to date, and support GMP compliance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Training and hands-on cleaning duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience or training.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and GMP-related guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and maintain logs and documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping concerns, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping documentation, schedules, and records to ensure accuracy and GMP compliance.
• Assist in coordinating housekeeping across production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Monitor supplies and PPE, and ensure resources are available for the team.
• Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
• Train and onboard new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety.
• Perform housekeeping duties as a working team member and cover absences.
• Assist with data collection on housekeeping performance and inspections.

Coordinates day-to-day housekeeping activities, provides guidance and support to assigned team members, and actively performs cleaning duties to support operational needs and maintain facility standards.**Job Description****MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and support the completion of routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning records, logs, and documentation.* Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping-related concerns, responding to requests, communicating priorities, and escalating issues as needed.* Maintain and update housekeeping documentation, cleaning schedules, logs, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance.* Assist with the coordination of housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, and common areas to support facility cleanliness and operational requirements.* Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment to ensure team members have the resources needed to perform their duties.* Run basic reports, complete required documentation, and assist in gathering data related to housekeeping performance, inspections, and cleaning activities.* Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and facility cleaning standards.* Participate in and promote 5S, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.* Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and department expectations.* Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as a working member of the team, including providing coverage during employee absences, vacancies, and periods of increased workload.* Perform other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * At least 6 months of housekeeping and training experience **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:** * Strong organizational and communication skills.* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.* Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.* Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily* Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.* Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week* Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.* Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$16.00 - $23.25 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
