NAMIC, a division of Medline, is seeking a Building & Grounds Custodian Coordinator for the 3rd shift in Glens Falls, NY. This on-site role supports housekeeping and facility cleaning operations to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment.

The coordinator will guide daily housekeeping activities, document cleaning tasks, and assist with training and coverage during peak periods. Relevant experience and strong communication are essential for success in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, and stand for long periods.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping tasks and maintain cleaning records.
• Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping schedules, logs, and documentation for GMP compliance.
• Assist across production, warehouse, and office areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Monitor supplies, PPE, and equipment; ensure availability for the team.
• Perform cleaning duties as a working team member and cover during absences.
• Participate in 5S, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with training new housekeeping staff.

Coordinates day-to-day housekeeping activities, provides guidance and support to assigned team members, and actively performs cleaning duties to support operational needs and maintain facility standards.**Job Description****MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and support the completion of routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning records, logs, and documentation.* Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping-related concerns, responding to requests, communicating priorities, and escalating issues as needed.* Maintain and update housekeeping documentation, cleaning schedules, logs, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance.* Assist with the coordination of housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, and common areas to support facility cleanliness and operational requirements.* Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment to ensure team members have the resources needed to perform their duties.* Run basic reports, complete required documentation, and assist in gathering data related to housekeeping performance, inspections, and cleaning activities.* Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and facility cleaning standards.* Participate in and promote 5S, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.* Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and department expectations.* Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as a working member of the team, including providing coverage during employee absences, vacancies, and periods of increased workload.* Perform other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * At least 6 months of housekeeping and training experience **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:** * Strong organizational and communication skills.* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.* Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.* Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily* Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.* Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week* Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.* Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$16.00 - $23.25 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
