Job Description

Create a Lasting First Impression—Inside and Outside the Office

At MassMutual Great Lakes, we believe that excellence begins with the environment we create for our clients, guests, and team. As our Building Facilities and Transportation Coordinator, you are the driving force—literally and figuratively—behind the comfort, safety, and efficiency of our space. Reporting to Advisor Services and Operations, this full-time role offers a unique opportunity to blend hospitality, facilities care, and operational support into one meaningful position.

Be the person who ensures every detail is handled with care, whether it’s greeting a guest at the airport, running an errand for the CEO, prepping the office for an event, or making sure everything works behind the scenes.

What You'll Do:
  1. Chauffeur clients and guests to and from the office or other destinations in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
  2. Maintain company vehicles, including scheduling routine maintenance, cleaning, fueling, and minor troubleshooting
  3. Perform light repair and maintenance work around the office such as furniture assembly, hanging items, or minor fixes
  4. Run office errands such as picking up supplies, delivering documents, and supporting team or client events
  5. Assist with the setup, breakdown, and logistics of in-office meetings, events, or visitor appointments
  6. Collaborate with Advisor Services and Operations to proactively support office cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance
  7. Provide ad hoc support to the team as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What You'll Bring:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and upkeep
  • Familiarity with light facility repairs and tools
  • Awareness of professional hospitality standards
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and confidentiality practices, especially in a financial services environment
  • Able to pass a background check
We'd Love to See:
  • Strong driving, navigation, and time management skills
  • Clear, professional communication and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond flexibly to changing needs
  • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
  • Dependability, discretion, and the ability to work independently
