Job summary

Keller, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced on-site supervisor to lead our pre-engineered and conventional metal and wood framed building crews. You will manage 4-5 crew members, coordinate with project management, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years construction experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Comfortable with heights and outdoor work.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel typically within WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4-5 crew members in daily duties and assist in training of new members.
• Work with project management to ensure proper staffing, materials, and equipment on site to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate schedules and work areas with subcontractors.
• Monitor quality control and safety standards for Keller employees and subcontractors.
• Complete daily paperwork such as reports and timecards.
• Maintain a safe on-site work environment.

Job Duties:

• Lead and work with crew members performing building erection of our pre-engineered/conventional metal and wood framed buildings
• Lead 4-5 crew members in daily duties and assist in training of new members
• Work with project management team to ensure proper staffing, materials, and equipment are on site to meet the project deadlines
• Work with subcontractors to coordinate schedules and work areas
• Monitor quality control and safety standards for Keller employees and subcontractors
• Keep supervisor informed with job progress
• Complete daily paperwork such as daily reports, timecards, and quality control sheets
• Maintain a safe work environment for all members on the job site

Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years construction experience (Preferred)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Comfortable with heights
• Great Leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel typically within WI
• Ability to lift heavy objects (0-80lbs from ground to waist level, 0-50lbs from to shoulder level)
• Ability to walk, and stand for long periods of time while performing physical labor
• Ability to operate tools and equipment
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions
