Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified Project Manager to direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on critical projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 7 years of related experience, and a professional engineering license. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. Responsibilities include managing client relations and financial aspects of projects while implementing quality assurance procedures. A commitment to an inclusive culture is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience, Access experience would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Responsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
  • Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
  • Establish and maintain client relations, participating in various meetings.
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget.
  • Work with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership on periodic project reviews.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • Responsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
  • Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
  • Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule parameters.
  • Work with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • PMP certification
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng)
  • MS Office and MS Project experience; Access experience would be a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
