Job summary
Sentral in San Diego, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and systems, with weekend availability and rotating on-call. You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related tasks while prioritizing resident and guest service.
Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and a technical college background, hands-on tool skills, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.
Qualifications
- > High school diploma or GED is required.
- > Technical college background or related certificate is preferred.
- > Proven maintenance experience or related degree is beneficial.
- > CPO and HVAC certifications are required or preferred.
Responsibilities
- > Prioritize strong customer service with residents and guests.
- > Perform routine maintenance: painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC upkeep.
- > Conduct safety inspections and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- > Diagnose and repair mechanical issues; service equipment and structures as needed.
- > Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior areas and equipment.
- > Comply with safety and health regulations.
- > Manage maintenance inventory and coordinate with vendors.
- > Respond to emergency maintenance calls; on-call availability.
- > Work with supervisors and follow instructions.
