The Building Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for ensuring the physical and mechanical upkeep of the property. This includes but is not limited to the operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems including HVAC, lighting, and safety equipment, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with codes.
The Building Engineer is also responsible for conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, supervising contractors, managing energy efficiency, and maintaining a safe, functional environment for residents.
