Shepherd Center is seeking a Building Engineer responsible for day-to-day maintenance, engineering, and general duties. This role involves proactive maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical repairs, and ensuring the Center remains in excellent condition.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, along with five years of plant maintenance experience, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills. The position also requires physical capability, including lifting heavy equipment and working in varied environments.

Responsible for assisting in day‑to‑day maintenance, engineering, and all general duties assigned. Practices proactive maintenance to keep the Center in excellent condition and interacts with individuals throughout the Center. Requires an enthusiastic and diligent individual.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of five years of plant maintenance experience, including but not limited to chillers, boilers, and HVAC. Demonstrated leadership, organizational and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, work in cramped or uncomfortable spaces, climb ladders, and use manual tools.
