Oxford Properties in New York is seeking a licensed Building Engineer to operate and maintain building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support energy efficiency initiatives. This fixed full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, with collaboration across property management, accounting, HR, and engineering teams.
Candidates must hold a NYC Refrigeration Engineer License and EPA Section 608 Universal certification for refrigerants; Journeyman/Master

The Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems as well as performance of preventative and unscheduled maintenance; in accordance with Oxford guidelines. Contribute to the efficient operation of the property while optimizing engineering efforts to meet or exceed expectations. Work in partnership with property management and support teams (i.e. Accounting, Customer Service, Administration, Leasing, Engineering, Construction and HR) and encourage all vendors and staff to do the same.
This position is a fixed full-time schedule Monday – Friday 4:00pm – 12:00am

As required by New York City law, OMERS & Oxford provides a reasonable range of base salary for each role that is advertised in New York City. The salary offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
For New York City only, the hourly rate range for this role is $53.01/hr.
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. The base salary that is ultimately offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set.
