Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. in Asheville, NC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and tools, and to provide excellent on-site service.

You will troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical and electrical issues, respond to warranty calls, and communicate progress clearly to customers while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.
• Two years' experience installing electronic/mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical and controls issues.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Provide customers with high level of service and solutions.
• Load controller software and complete commissioning docs.
• Document changes and communicate progress to customers and contractors.
• Follow safety standards and complete required training.
