Job summary

Mantisinnovation is seeking a seasoned Controls Application Engineer to develop BMS/SCADA applications at supervisory and controller levels. You will refine engineering standards, and provide remote support to project teams while collaborating across Controls Engineering.

Expect involvement with DDC/HVAC applications, and experience with Niagara and several SCADA platforms. The role requires strong independent work and teamwork, with mission-critical environment experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in Building Automation or Controls Engineering.
• 5+ years of BMS application development experience, with mission critical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DDC control theory & HVAC applications.
• Basic networking knowledge; IP addressing, subnetting, and device configurations.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, SNMP, MQTT integrations.
• 2+ years of experience with Niagara platform (Niagara N4 certification preferred).
• Familiarity with Distech, Ignition SCADA, Wonderware, and PLC systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMS applications across multiple platforms: Niagara, Ignition, Wonderware, Distech, PLCs.
• Support the development and enforcement of engineering standards for programming, graphics, alarming, tagging, history management, and database creation.
• Provide remote technical support to Project Managers and Field Engineers during project execution.
