Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. seeks a skilled Cx Agent II to support commissioning across design, construction, and occupancy phases. You will verify systems meet owner requirements and collaborate with clients, designers, contractors, and vendors to deliver high‑performing buildings.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in M&P or electrical systems, with a bachelor's in engineering and proficiency in MS Office and cloud Cx tools. Excellent documentation and communication are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with M&P systems, automation, and controls or with electrical systems and low voltage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with two years of applicable experience or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based Cx platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support and sometimes lead commissioning across design, construction, and occupancy phases.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for design intent and testing needs.
• Perform site visits, inspections, and functional tests.
• Prepare progress reports on commissioning status and actions.
• Maintain logs and close-out documents for commissioned systems.
• Participate in client and internal Cx team meetings to review status.
• Contribute to design reviews and document comments for the project team.
