Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections at various stages of construction for compliance with building construction codes and policies.
• Reads and interprets plans, specifications and related documents.
• Provides technical assistance on difficult or unusual construction problems.
• Performs emergency inspections to resolve difficult problems.
• Explains and interprets construction codes to owners, contractors, design professionals and the public.
• Prepares and maintains technical reports.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Will report to work outside normally scheduled hours for emergencies or critical incidents.
