Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in building code interpretation, administration and enforcement, plan review, and providing development services in a one-stop shop environment.
• Understanding of economic development and a development review process focused on customer service and pro-growth strategies.
• Outstanding customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication, good organizational skills, and a willingness to work independently.
• Ability to address conflicts, research alternatives and recommend solutions collaboratively.
• Experience supervising and providing field training for direct reports.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years experience in building construction, plan review, code administration and enforcement.
