Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services CBRE Government and Defense Business is hiring a Cleaning Coordinator in the New York area. You will perform basic cleaning tasks in client and company buildings, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and stocking restrooms.

This full-time morning shift runs 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and safety standards.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners.
• Maintain safe storage of cleaning supplies and complete checklists.
• Follow standardized cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use defined procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
