Job summary

J&J Cleaning is seeking a Cleaning Coordinator in New York to perform basic cleaning tasks across client and company buildings, including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and restocking supplies.

This role operates on the 2nd shift (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM) and requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and familiarity with MS Office. You will follow established procedures and complete daily checklists under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors.
• Follow cleaning procedures and use chemical cleaners safely.
• Complete cleaning checklists for designated areas.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Follow defined procedures under close supervision.
