Job Description

Knott Mechanical is seeking a skilled Building Automation Technician to cover the Central Maryland market. We are a family-owned organization with a stellar reputation in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Building Automation industries, offering competitive pay, benefits, and a potential sign-on bonus plus $5000 for each referral.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, build, program, and manage building automation systems, including developing project scopes, installing and programming systems, and ensuring project success.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency service calls, troubleshooting and restoring systems to full operation.
• Maintain documentation, develop standards, and support sales activities such as site surveys and customer relations.
• Maintain necessary certifications, read blueprints, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications:

• HVAC Journeyman’s License or Electrical Journeyman’s License.
• Experience with project management and building automation systems such as Honeywell Webs, Tridium, Distech, Johnson Controls, among others.
• Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
