Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Systems Specialist to support our Milford, OH branch, serving the greater Cincinnati area. You will install, startup, and commission building automation systems, document work, and lead onsite technicians with project planning involvement.

The role includes customer training, data backup, and close collaboration with Project Managers. A company vehicle, tools, and a defined boot camp program support long-term success.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, starting up and commissioning building automation equipment.
• Strong ability to document commissioning details and communicate issues.
• Ability to lead technicians and coordinate with Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress.
• Act as the Lead Technician and plan work with the Project Manager.
• Network technologies: perform data backup, troubleshoot, and ensure proper operating sequences.
• Configure PC workstations and user interfaces; verify network performance.
• Perform operational testing, verification, and acceptance; train customers.
• Coordinate with trade contractors to start services on site.
• Submit accurate time and expense reports; adhere to safety policies.

This role supports our Milford, OH branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Cincinnati, OH area. The territory coverage is typically less than a 1-hour radius from Cincinnati, with occasional travel of 2+ hours as needed.

Our S ystems Specialists participate in the installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation system equipment that has been newly installed and supports the verification of the system database and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and sequence of operations. Our S ystems Specialists are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment. Employees in this role will have access to our Specialist Boot Camp, a 5-week paid training program designed to accelerate technical skills and set you up for long-term success. Also, you will receive a company-provided vehicle, professional-grade tools, and all necessary equipment.

As a S ystems Specialist, you will:

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Document commissioning details; communicates deficiencies and progress.
• Act as the Lead Technician and plan work with Project Manager.
• Network technologies: Perform data back-up from data servers andcreateautomated back-up procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operationsConfigures PC workstations and user interfaces. Confirm proper network performance.
• Operational testing, verification, and acceptance: Run routine reports to review system operation Perform final inspection, testing and customer acceptance. Provide customer trainingonsystem operations. Complete andsubmitroutine written reports. Provide plans and control system documents to engineering for as-built drawings.
• Project site communication and coordination: Coordinate trade contractors to perform startup services.
• Work Rotational On-Call (minimal need).
• Submitaccuratetime and expense reports.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Have access to our Specialist Boot Camp, a 5-week paid training program in your first year designed to accelerate your technical skills and set you up for long-term success.
• Receive a company-provided vehicle, professional-grade tools, and all necessary equipment.

The pay range for this position is $49,195 - $84,334 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
